BillGuarded Terms of Service

The service
BillGuarded analyzes billing records against commercial terms supplied by the customer and produces evidence-linked potential discrepancies for review. The service is an analytical aid, not a legal, accounting, tax, collections, or recovery-guarantee service.
Free Proof Scan
The Free Proof Scan accepts one contract or rate card plus one recent invoice and does not require payment-card information. Common business record formats may be securely uploaded. Structured records that meet the deterministic engine's evidence requirements may be processed automatically. Other supported formats may require assisted normalization before BillGuarded makes a billing conclusion.
No recovery guarantee
A BillGuarded finding does not establish that a charge is unlawful, improper, or recoverable. Operational context, amendments, minimums, credits, service exceptions, activity records, and other facts may change the result. Customers are responsible for reviewing findings before disputing a charge or acting on them.
Your documents
You represent that you are authorized to submit the documents and information you upload. You remain responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the materials provided and for complying with any confidentiality obligations that apply to them.
Supported production inputs
The Free Proof Scan can accept CSV, TSV, TXT, XLS, XLSX, and PDF business records within the published size limits. Automated findings are generated only when the submitted evidence can be normalized and reconciled safely. The paid automated 90-Day Audit remains fail-closed to supported structured USD CSV inputs before checkout. A declared non-USD currency in that paid automated path is rejected before payment unless BillGuarded explicitly states otherwise.
Payments
The Free Proof Scan is $0 and requires no card. The Full 90-Day Audit is a separate one-time paid scope whose price is shown before Stripe Checkout. A legacy Evidence Check offer may remain available for compatibility, but it is not required to start with BillGuarded. Paid recurring monitoring remains controlled early access until the recurring ingestion workflow is explicitly made generally available. Billing is processed by Stripe and may be subject to Stripe's applicable terms.
Dispute packets
BillGuarded may generate a draft dispute packet from supported findings to help a customer communicate with a 3PL or carrier. The customer is responsible for reviewing and deciding whether to send, modify, or act on that draft.
Availability and changes
We may improve, secure, or modify the service as necessary. We may suspend abusive activity or activity that threatens the security or reliability of the service.
